Bollinger Bands
Bands around price that show how far price has stretched from its recent average.
Trader Arena teaches the BBMA trading strategy through an organized course. The focus is on understanding the method, recognizing its setups on a chart, and following its rules with discipline.
BBMA stands for Bollinger Bands and Moving Averages. It is a Malaysian-origin trading methodology developed by trader Oma Ally.
Instead of reading many separate concepts, BBMA looks at price, Bollinger Bands, moving averages and candle formations together. These combinations are organized into named setups, each with clear conditions, so a trader can check whether a setup is valid before acting and recognise when it is not.
This rule-based structure is why Trader Arena teaches BBMA: it gives learners one consistent process to study, practise and test.
Bands around price that show how far price has stretched from its recent average.
A set of moving averages, including the 50 EMA used in several course setups, that follow the direction of price.
Specific candles, such as momentum and extreme candles, that help confirm whether a setup is valid.
Defined setups, from the core BBMA setup to the Sniper family, each with conditions to check before a trade.
The trainer’s aim is to make BBMA easier to learn by teaching it in a clear order and keeping study focused and disciplined. Through the course, the trainer will:
Work from a defined method. Each setup has a name and a place in the course, so you always know what you are studying and why.
Follow the rules for all setups. Discipline includes waiting for a setup to form and managing risk instead of reacting to every price move.
Repeat the same process. Studying setups the same way each time makes them easier to recognize and harder to misread.
The course opens with the normal BBMA concept, so later material has a foundation to build on. Candlestick momentum and the extreme reversal setup come next.
Setups are grouped and named: the core BBMA setup, six advanced BBMA setups, and the Sniper family. Clear names make each setup easier to study, compare and revisit.
The final sections cover the rules for all setups and the wider skills around them, including news trading, price action, layering, account compounding and trading psychology.
Know what a topic is and why it matters before applying it.
See how each concept and setup appears on real charts.
Train your eye to spot setups and tell them apart.
Use the same rules every time to stay consistent.
